my prayers are with the mulvaney family, it was so sad to hear of judge mulvaney's passing. I am sure that everyone that worked with him will miss him very much and will continue to carry out his legacy.
isnt anyone curious to know exactly where the other 89 generators are hiding? who has them and why are they not coming forward and either giving them back or paying for them. i know that detective work may be a little above this courts agenda but if i am going to pay for something or get charged for something i want proof of its existence and i would want to benefit from it.
TO ME IT IS unreasonable that the county auditors office had to physically go find the 128 generators that has to date been found. The court is suppose to be responsible for county issues and expenditures. it is not suppose to foot the bill for surrounding cities and neighboring counties. Why were these government entities allowed to take county property and not sign a legal document stating they had possession of these items and would bear the payment of them.
If any individual or government has a red generator and it just kinda poped up on your drive way, or someone told you it was a gift, check with our county auditor, could be it was loaned to you and not intended for you to keep as a souvenir.
there is no guarantee how much if any FEMA is willing to pay for these items. and remember FEMA money is taxpayers money.
We not only went into the entertainment business we went into the insurance business. Since discussion of moving risk management to human resource department is in play, perhaps this
would be an excellent time to discuss changing the county’s responsibility . this is a department created by this administration.
There are companies that are well versed in handling insurance, claims, public liability and workers comp. This was discussed earlier this year perhaps its time to consider changing county responsibility again.
Many people that were affected by the two hurricanes will not have the big holiday season perhaps they are use to, this is where our personal strength will help us get through this difficult time. And although we have many challenges facing us because of the destruction of the hurricane it would be a good time to remember that personal possessions can be replaced but family cannot.
to every one on the court and everyone present here and watching on television.
to all county employees, department heads and elected officials.
I wish you all a very pleasant thanksgiving .
