The Preserve the Valley group has created a fantastic video outlining their vision for the old Riverwood Golf Course next to the Cuyahoga River near the Merriman Valley. This vision argues against the creation of a new residential development consisting of 197 units.
The Preserve the Valley group is asking everyone to take just 5 minutes to send a brief 3-line comment to Akron City Council (publiccomment@akronohio.gov). The Preserve the Valley Citizens Action group will be testifying against the development at the final zoning hearings for Riverwood on December 14th. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take a few minutes and do your part to help save this incredible piece of riverfront for posterity.
