City of Cuyahoga Falls Supports the Veterans Trail
Updated: Aug 7, 2021
On Monday, July 26th, Cuyahoga Falls City Council unanimously passed Resolution B-60 formally declaring their support for the Veterans Trail. Ward 4 Councilwoman Mary Nichols-Rhodes worked with Austen Rau, TASCforce Board Member for Cuyahoga Falls, to submit the resolution. Then, all of the Falls Council Members signed on as sponsors as well. Thus, Cuyahoga Falls becomes the third city to pass such a resolution - joining the cities of Stow and Hudson.

“Interest in and support for the Veterans Trail remains high. Meanwhile, interest in and support for reactivating the right-of-way as a rail line is minimal and unlikely to succeed.
The time has come to move this project forward and request approval from the Federal Transit Administration. "
