SUPPORT FROM HUDSON RESIDENTS NEEDED NOW - The City of Hudson is updating its connectivity plan for sidewalks, shared use paths, and multipurpose trails. Citizens are invited to provide feedback by using the Submit Feedback button here:
Useful feedback related to the Veterans Trail plan supported by TASCforce would include comments such as: 1) Hudson officials should encourage Metro RTA to allow the abandoned Akron Secondary Line to be converted to a multi-purpose trail. 2) Hudson officials should then encourage Summit MetroParks to design, build, and manage a new Bike & Hike trail on that right of way. 3) The advantages of this new multi-purpose trail would be: - Trail to connect communities of Stow, Silver Lake, Cuyahoga Falls, and Akron. - Trail would connect with 6 existing and proposed multi-purpose trails in northern Summit county. - Trail would be safe, secluded, and scenic. - Trail can be used for commuting as well as recreation.
